Here is the Truth: YOU are the Reason
As the year draws to a quiet close and the world starts to exhale, I’ve found myself reflecting not on the big moments — but on the small, behavioural ones.
The ones that no one sees.
The ones that don’t make it into an annual report.
The ones that change everything.
This edition isn’t about me.
It’s not about the work I do.
It’s not a wrap-up of 2025.
This one is about YOU.
For the Chair who slowed the room down when someone tried to push a rushed decision.
For the CEO who stopped leading through fear and started leading through clarity.
For the Director who finally said, “I’m not comfortable with this — we need to talk about it.”
For the governance steward who held the line when everyone wanted a shortcut.
These shifts may look small from the outside.
But internally — somatically — they are monumental.
Because this is the difference between:
Unclean power
and
Clean power.
Unclean power leaves people leaving Boardrooms with tight chests, replaying conversations at 2am, doubting their own judgment.
Clean power creates space.
Clean power invites truth.
Clean power feels steady, grounded, safe — even when the stakes are high.
This year, you chose clean power.
You interrupted old patterns.
You stopped tolerating the behaviours you once absorbed in silence.
You made decisions that prioritised alignment over ego.
You told the truth a little more plainly.
And those choices?
They changed the room.
They changed the people in it.
They changed the future.
You may not see it.
But others felt it.
This is why Boardrooms can feel different in 2026.
Because YOU showed up differently this year.
As you move into the holiday break, my wish for you is simple:
May you exhale what you’ve been holding.
May you honour the shifts you’ve made — even the ones no one else witnessed.
May you trust what your body already knows about clean power, alignment, and truth.
